Chat With A Team Member or Client

Yalla lets you have conversations with individual team members, sort of like the direct message feature in apps like Twitter.

To open a direct message with someone, click the plus sign next to “Direct Messages” on the left side of the chat screen. Type their name in the search box and click on their profile picture once they pop up. They’ll get added to your list of direct messages, which you can access by clicking on whoever you want to message.

Client chats are like direct messages, but they include all of your team members who have access to the client and all guest accounts of the client. They’re a good way to keep in contact with your clients through Yalla. (See our pages on inviting team members to clients and inviting clients to Yalla for more information on working with clients.)
