Zapier Integrations

Zapier is a really cool platform that lets apps talk to each other and extend their functionality. Users set up Zaps, which tell Zapier to watch for a certain action in one app. When that action takes place, Zapier then does something in another app.

We have loads of pre-made zap templates you can choose from to tie Yalla into your favorite apps, like creating priorities from starred emails in Gmail. It takes just a few minutes to set up a Zapier account and get automating.

Head on over to Zapier, create an account and select your plan. (Free is fine for our purposes.) You’ll see the “Explore” page when you sign in, listing all the available apps on Zapier. Search for Yalla and click its icon to display all of the zap templates we have available.

Click on an automation you want to set up to get started. If this is your first time using Zapier with Yalla, it’ll ask you for your API key. To access your key, head into Yalla and hover over “Me” on the top menu bar. Click “Settings,” then click “Keys” on the left side of the popup that appears.

The field labeled “API Key” may be empty, but that’s no problem. Just click the circular arrow icon to its right to generate an API key for yourself. You can also use this to regenerate your API key if it’s ever compromised.

You can now return to Zapier and paste in your API key. Once you add it once, Zapier will keep your Yalla account on file. Now you can add as many zaps as you like! (Provided you have a big enough Zapier plan.)

Our zap templates are a great place to start, but you can get really creative by making your own custom ones as well. Things get especially interesting when you work Yalla into multi-step zaps. Have fun, and let us know if you think of any cool zaps or automations we should know about!
