How and Why To Create a Channel

In our chat, we use channels for different methods of communication. Here are a few ways you can use channels:

  1. View other team members history
  2. Chat with clients or vendors
  3. Chat with the entire team, or a selected group of individuals
  4. Centralize notifications from other SAAS apps
  5. To have lots of fun (See video on How To Have Fun With Chat)

Create new channels by clicking on the plus sign at the right side of each of the channel headings. There are three main categories for channels:

  1. Channels (General All Purpose)
  2. Client Channels (For Clients To Communicate With Their Team)
  3. Direct Messages Channels (For Direct Messaging Internal Team Members)
